PADI Certification Referral Dives

Complete your referral dives for scuba certification with Scubalibre Varadero. Make your four referral dives on Cuba's pristine and warm water to earn your Open Water certification. This referral course is for new divers who have already completed their academic theory and confined water skills. Academic theory may be completed with an instructor or online using PADI’s e-Learning. Please provide documentation of all completed coursework from your initial instructor. (Scubalibre Varadero offers full PADI Open Water course over 3 - 4 days.)

Highlights

• The referral course is comprised of four open water dives designed for you to ultimately dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 60 feet. You make two dives each day and record details of each dive in your new logbook. Cuba offers great dive conditions to earn your PADI certification. Shore diving in the Varadero area or the Bay of Pigs in the Caribbean seaside of the island allows for easy entry into the ocean and excellent dive sites with fields of coral reefs, schools of fish, and crystal clear waters.

Price:

• $250 - Four dives (Two days)
• $170 - Two dives (This is for dives 3 and 4 of your OWD certification, you must show proof of completion of dives 1 and 2).

Companions (Ride along) - $35/day

Typical Class Schedule

• Day one – Introduction, review, and 1 & 2 Open water dives
• Day two – 3 & 4 Open water dives, conclusion.
  (Days can be spread out as needed weekends, etc.)

Quick Details

• Must present referral forms from the previous instructor.
• Expect to review forms and basic theory with your instructor.
• Course length is two days.
• Each class is around 4-5 hours in duration.
• Minimum age: 10 years old.
• Price includes Transportation, All dive gear, Training dives, and International PADI Diving Certification.

Important Information:

• If weather conditions are not suitable to dive in Varadero, the Diving will take place at the Bay Of Pigs, 2 hours drive from Varadero (Caribbean Sea)
• Lunch is NOT INCLUDED (applicable for the Bay of Pigs dives only a lunch stop in an Authentic Private Cuban restaurant - price $10 - $15/person)
