Cuba’s calm, warm waters and stunning coral reefs provide the perfect classroom to finalize your scuba certification. Over two days, you’ll complete the four required open water dives under the guidance of our lead instructor, Jorge Trujillo (SSI Pro #121025). Prices
- Full Referral Completion (4 dives): $250 USD (2 days)
- Partial Referral (2 dives – Dives 3 & 4 only): $170 USD (1 day, proof of Dives 1 & 2 required)
- Non-diver companion (ride-along): $35 USD/day

What to Expect
Day 1:
- Instructor review of referral paperwork
- Dives 1 & 2 (or 3 & 4 for partials)
- Dive log review and sign-off
Day 2:
- Dives 3 & 4 (if applicable)
- Final dive assessments and certification validation
If the weather doesn’t allow for safe diving in Varadero, the dives will take place at the beautiful Bay of Pigs on the Caribbean coast (approx. 2-hour drive). The site features crystal-clear water and vibrant reefs. Lunch stop at a local Cuban restaurant is optional (~$10–15 USD, not included).
Requirements
- Minimum age: 10 years
- Valid referral paperwork showing completion of theory and confined water training
- Medical questionnaire completed (see below)
- Schedule flexibility (dives may span 1–2 days depending on weather and certification path)

- This program completes your Open Water Diver certification
- SSI digital certification is valid worldwide and never expires
- MySSI app tracks your progress and stores your digital card
- All gear is included — no hidden equipment fees
- Balance due in USD cash or CAD/EURO equivalent (based on daily rate)
Booking Notes
- A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your dates
- Students must present referral documentation from their original instructor or training center
- If you answered “Yes” to any questions on the SSI Medical Form, a physician’s release is required
- Please avoid alcohol and heavy meals before your dives
- The official SSI Medical Questionnaire will be also provided after booking
